There are
many creatures and living beings in this world. They make the planet a better
place to stay. But, unfortunately humankind has been destroying the habitat of
these creatures and also killing them. It has made that some animals are
becoming endangered. This is not good neither for the animals nor for the
planet, the place where we live. I would like to explain my opinion in the
subsequent paragraphs.
First,
animals make part of a food chain and if some species in this food chain are
affected, the whole ecosystem will be degenerate. Every animal in the food
chain has a work to do. Some animals eat grass, but others eat those animals. There
are animals who eat leftovers and fertilize the soil. Therefore, it is quite
important to protect and conserve this chain. For example, the bees have a
significant labor. They pollinize the plants so that they can breed. If they
became endangered, we could not live in this planet. Hence, we have to protect
the nature and make the world a better place for the species.
Secondly, biodiversity
is important for humans. Biodiversity is a good indicator to know how well an
ecosystem is. Therefore, the endangered animals are fundamental for the
ecosystems. In addition, ecosystems provide resources for humans. For instance,
Miraflores moor is a strategic ecosystem for my city. It provides us water, the
most important resource that we need to live. There are some spectacled bears
and cougars in the ecosystem. They indicate how conserved the moor is. Hence,
endangered animals are valuable to know the state of an ecosystem.
In
conclusion, it is necessary to protect and conserve endangered species. This is
because they make part of a food chain and we cannot break it. They also
indicate how well an ecosystem is.
